What started as a vision for a Rogersville resident to create a place for her own parents to have a place to enjoy became a senior center for all to enjoy. The Rogersville Senior Center serves a fantastic meal to over 60 seniors, delivers meals to over 60 others, and offers a variety of activity and entertainment for all to enjoy.

Andy's Story of Help and Hope
Andy and his wife came to our Center for years. He came to play pool and she volunteered in the kitchen. After she past he continued to come. One day the men in the Pool Room came to get the blood pressure cup saying that Andy was in trouble. I gave it to them and followed as they went to take care of him. He was already pale and was past being helped by us.

We called 911 and the fire department who came and took him to the hospital. Andy’s granddaughter came in the next morning and hugged me telling me that we had saved her grand pa’s life. If the Center was not here for him to get up and come to he would not have made it. His granddaughter told me they check on him in the evening.

Andy means much to us and is back playing pool with the guys.
